WinQure will join Citeline panel on Patient-Centric Trials in Boston

WinQure Medicine will join a panel discussion hosted by Citeline and EmVenio in Boston on 15 September 2026, exploring the role of patient-centric trial design in rare and ultra-rare disease.

The session, “We Proved Patient-Centric Trials Worked. Why Did We Stop Using Them?”, will examine why approaches developed to put patients at the centre of clinical research have not become more routinely embedded in trial design and delivery.

For ultra-rare diseases, patient-centricity extends beyond reducing the burden of trial participation. When only a very small number of patients are eligible for a therapy, decisions around study design, site selection, endpoints and participation can directly affect whether a viable clinical development pathway exists at all.

WinQure CEO and Co-founder Dr Stephanie Manton will join the panel to discuss how clinical development models can better reflect the realities of ultra-rare patient populations, and what needs to change to make patient-centric approaches a routine part of clinical trial design and delivery.
